ON February 13th, Painted BLACK kickED off with ACT I, closing Fashion Week with an unforgettable night of deep dance music and sensory immersion at Irving Plaza.

HEADLINING THE NIGHT WAS AUSTRIAN-FORMED KLANGKARUSSELL, WHO MADE THEIR NYC DEBUT. THOMAS AZIER UNIQUE BEAT-HEAVY, SYNTH-DRIVEN DARK WAVE KILLED IT WITH AN INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE. HIS AVANT-GARDE PRESENCE AND FUTURISTIC AESTHETIC WAS THE PERFECT COMPLEMENT TO THE PAINTED BLACK THEME. KNOWN AROUND THE WORLD AS A MASTER DJ OF THE BERLIN UNDERGROUND SCENE, STEFAN BINIAK ALSO MADE HIS NYC DEBUT at BLACK. HIS REMIXES BALANCED EMOTIVE VOCALS WITH MINIMAL BASEMENT BEATS.

Each of the acts WERE PAIRED WITH VISUALLY STUNNING INTERACTIVE  SHOWS that WERE created collaboratively with the performers.

DON'T MISS OUT ON ACT II.
